Should I buy an R11 or Diablo Octane?
I am in high school and my Dad says if I keep my grades up I can get a new driver. I have a high handicap, but my driving is usually not the biggest problem. I used to struggle with a slice, but that is getting a lot better. When I hit it good it usually draws a little. Right now I am deciding between the Taylormade R11 and the Callaway Diablo Octane. I have a high swing speed and average 230 yards off the tee. I would like to have one of those drivers, but if you think a different driver would be better for my game, feel free to suggest it. If it helps, I am currently playing an R5.
Thanks for the answers so far. I am going to Golf Galaxy tomorrow to try a few different drivers on their simulator. I’ll let you know which ones I like.
I am planning on keeping the club that I buy for at least 4-5 years.
